Black, Cream, & Zebra All Over...On the cheap :)

My dining room table and chairs are finished, and I'm in animal print love! Thank you so much for all your compliments and comments on my table and chairs dilemma...to keep them red, paint them, or change out the fabric?
My final decision was to change out the fabric, which was a common suggestion y'all had. I went on the hunt big time for the perfect zebra print chenille in black and cream to match the newly painted table and I think I hit the nail on the head.

My first stop was the local upholstery shop which had tons of gorgeous fabric samples hanging all over the place. I found a yummy chenille there, but at $34 a yard I knew I needed to take that as inspiration and look elsewhere. JoAnn's had a nice option for $20 a yard, but I wanted to do better than that...and I did.
I finally found the perfect zebra chenille at Weavers on the Web Fabric & Trim. They have an ebay store and online store as well with very low prices and excellent service. I ended up paying $9.95 a yard with $4.95 shipping. You can't beat that!
I love them, my husband (who hates all things animal print) loves them, and they pass the toddler test...although I do throw a hand towel over his seat when we're eating just in case :)

  17. The zebra looks great with the red! So Spicy! The green creeper plant in the first picture on my blog is Creeping Jenny. It is wonderful. It spreads relatively quickly and is a great ground cover. Also, in the winter it turns burgandy. You'll not regret planting it!
