Lovin' on our Military

One day, in the near when my son goes to Kindergarten and my daughter decides to nap for more than 45 minutes...I'm determined to return to blog land.  I have so many new projects to show off, including a new line of children's accessories and apparel available for purchase at 2 local boutiques. But in the mean time I'm content with being involved in something big...really BIG!

Operation Hope Front Promo from Scotts Hill on Vimeo.

It's a fantastic event designed to show our love and support for local military families.  It's especially close to my heart since I am a military wife.  I am blessed to have a husband who has a heart of service for his country.  Our family shares that mission with him, and all the uncertainty and pride that is part of it.  It is a lifestyle that is only understood by those who have lived it, and this conference is a way to love on those precious people who serve as the backbone of our military force...the families.

I am on a team of volunteers to gather as many door prizes and gifts for goodie bags that we possibly can from local businesses and national sponsors.  God has already shown off in a BIG way by blessing us with donations from Beth Moore, Anne Graham Lotz, Dayspring, various Christian music artists, and local restaurants and retailers.  The provision that has already been given is an amazing sight to behold!

So now I'm asking all my bloggy friends for their support in the form of gifts.  If you are a crafter, etsy or online seller, local boutique owner, or just a jack of all trades with a heart to give we would love your donations.  I think it would be awesome to put together a gift basket of donated items from the blogger community as a door prize.  They can be handmade or not, in the form of tangible items or gift certificates to your online store.  The sky is the limit!  And of course your name will be included in a list of sponsors for each attendee to keep...think advertising!

If you would like to gift to this event leave a comment below with your email and I'll be in touch!
