I just adore them! She is going with a soothing palate of white, gray, spring green and teal. The nursery furniture is on order and has a cottage feel to it with a distressed white finish and dark stained wood tops. When she told me that here is only one piece of wall art in the room so far...a trio of canvases with Becca's name in Hebrew I knew exactly what I wanted to do.
Enter Pinterest...which has become synonymous with Google to me. My husband usually rolls his eyes when I throw out the occasional "I'm gonna Google that," but it totally threw him for a loop when I blurted "I'm gonna Pinterest that" one day :) Anywho this is what I used as inspiration...

I love the mix of natural, home spun letters paired with an ornate frame. The instructions aren't that difficult. The author tied her yarn on and didn't stop wrapping until she was finished...I used my best girlfriend the glue gun.
These are my material I bought at Michael's for around $20. The big score was the clearance frame I got for $10!!

I will say it's one of those projects that looks like a hot mess until the very last wrap. My "type A" self almost gave up a few times (especially on the letters with holes) but I"m glad I didn't. I have a feeling yarn art may just show up somewhere in my house very soon :)

I just realized I've started using Pinterest instead of Google too...

delhi is a fantastic place to shop.there is an outstanding array of wonderful stuff.handicrafts, textiles, clothing, carpets, jewellery, and a kaleiodocope of saris.away from the emporium and other fixed price shops, put on your haggle hat.many taxi and autorickshaw drivers earn commissions and may not take you the most reputable stores either making it best to decline their shopping suggestions.
